Culture Club 2010
this upcoming summer, i have a chance to go to Europe with my school. we will go to places like Paris, Prague, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein. if you live in Arizona and haven't used your tax credit, i would greatly appreciate anyone who would let me use their tax credit money. tax credit is when a single person can pay 200 dollars and a joint couple can pay up to 400 dollars. the money you pay as a tax credit will be refunded to you within the first few weeks of the next year. thank you.

blogging
here it is for all of those who have been waiting for it. and for a heads up, it will not be that exciting.
wicked was really great! i had such a good time going! it was an amazing performance. i did the same thing sydney did and thought that the show was over at the intermission. it's too bad the night ended with someone getting sick!
the next day, i left for salt lake. it was kind of nerve-racking having to get on a plane by myself especially considering the last time, and the only time i remember, flying was when i was ten didn't really help the situation. luckily i had nana to come to my aid and go with me to the gate.
efy was amazing. i made so many new friends. i wish i could have stayed there forever with them because they were some of the nicest people i have ever met. i thought it was funny that out of eighteen girls, only four of them weren't from gilbert and out of the ten boys, most of them were from lehi. i'm hoping i can see all of my friends again soon. but for now, i'm excited to go again next year!
on the way back it was kind of funny. a lot of our plane was filled with kids that were coming home from efy. i saw a few kids that i remember seeing at efy and some kids came from other sessions.
we had lots of fun at lake powell the week afterwards. of course i didn't like having to pack for another trip when i had just barely gotten home and was really tired because of all the sleep deprivation at efy (no joke, we didn't go to bed until midnight and i got up at three-thirty so i could take a shower everyday). i learned how to wake board on this trip and i am very proud of myself. i also had a lot of fun tubing. unfortunately for me, every time i went tubing i started bleeding because of a tubing trip at the beginning of the week. now i have a scar from tubing.
we didn't get to do our annual river rafting trip this year because of school but i am looking forward to next year's.
school...is school. nothing to exciting. i have the greatest a hour ever, we just get to run around taking pictures of things. i love my spanish teacher. she is so much fun. my math teachers okay. she doesn't give us a ton of homework but i can't get mine done in class because the girl that sits next to me is constantly nagging me. seminary is pretty good, i just don't like playing the piano in front of people. my science teacher is so confusing. when she tries to make sense she doesn't. i'm not sure she is capable of explaining stuff. i really like my english teacher this year. she gives us homework everyday but she is nice and does fun things. yoga...for any of you who think this is supposed to be relaxing...think again. it is mostly muscle training. as matter of fact, my mom told me about an article in reader's digest about the most important thing to stay healthy. the most important thing ended up being keeping lean body tissue and the most effective way of doing that was by yoga, not by weight lifting. it already feels as if i have been going to school for centuries. it's too bad they started school even earlier this year and are ending it even later.

"San de Lame-o" California
sorry...i love madagascar.
we arrived here on saturday. today we went "exploring" to see how close we could get to Mexico. we walked a little more than 3.6 miles. it was cool. we had never been that close to Mexico while on the beach. its really weird when its sunny and starts to rain on the beach on the second to last day in june.
then it got cloudy. brooklyn wanted us to go boogie boarding so we did and just like i predicted, it was cold. very cold. and then the waves started getting really big. so we went in. after we had already taken our showers for the day, it got sunny. bummer for us. the waves were still a little vicious so maybe it was good we came in...

fearless
on thursday night, my mom and i went to see taylor swift in concert in her fearless 2009 tour. we had so much fun!!!
the show kicked off with gloriana (which is a band taylor is trying to help get started)
then kellie pickler came out. she had a lot of crowd interaction.
taylor did a lot of singing and dancing. for one of her songs she came into the crowd and sang there. its too bad we didn't get our tickets earlier because the section she came into was the one we were planning on getting.
after that she made her way into the middle of the arena where there was a makeshift stage. she stayed and sang there for couple songs.
when she went back on to the stage she sang "should of said no." her and another girl did a performance in the middle of the song with a bunch of drums. when she came down from that part of the stage she did the same thing with the water as she had done for one of the award ceremonies.
it was really cool and so much fun. im so glad that's what i decided to do for my birthday!

end of a long year
wow.this school year has seemed so short yet so long. you know how when you're in elementary school and the last two weeks of school are absolutely pointless because you don't do anything? it wasn't like that. we had finals on monday and tuesday. on wednesday, we did multiple things and then on thursday we graduated. it feels like a saturday to me right now. i'm keep thinking that in a couple days we are just going to get up and go to school again. it is so sad to think of all my friends i will probably never see again because of boundaries and we were never given a chance to say goodbye to each other it seems so sad to me. but i need to remember
don't cry because its over, smile because it happened.
