europe 2010: day 11

day 11:


This is Saint-Michael in the Latin Quarter. In France, they are really into the fall of Lucifer as this statue shows.
This is the opera house which the legend of the Phantom of the Opera came from.
This is the French Parliament building.
This was NOT stolen by Napoleon...it was a gift.
A fountain representing the seven seas.

Sorry if you don't like the pictures of the ceilings but those were my favorite...and they were the only pictures that came out very good...



















This is Marie-Antoinette's actual bedding. They found it in an antique shop in New York in the 1940's.
