Who I'm Supposed to Be

I should have been Asian.

 'Nuff said.

A Year From Now, We'll All Be Gone. All Our Friends Will Move Away. And They're Going to Better Places, But Our Friends Will Be Gone Away

A year from now, I'll be an adult.  A year from now, I'll be a high school graduate.  A year from now, I'll be at college.  And a year from now, everything will change, and all my friend's will have gone away.

Honestly, this point in my life seems really weird.  I have some friends that have started college this week.  I've also had people that I know well, and I suppose you could venture to say am friends with, get married.  It's all very surreal.

I doesn't seem real that pretty soon, I'll be living on my own, hopefully in Provo, going to BYU.  I'll be living single life, OH JEEZ...

But it is real.  I've been coming to terms with it as I start to apply for scholarships and other universities. (BYU's application doesn't open until October.  By then I'll probably have all my other applications turned in!) Not to mention that practically everything I've recently come to own has eyes for the future.  I just inherited silverware for goodness sakes!  Not to mention that my Christmas list includes things like a computer and dishes...

I think this is one of the few times I have been able to actually think of a Christmas list... Oh the necessities of college life!

And For the Ones That Have Been Gone Too Long

By the end of the summer, I can say I was ready to come home to some normalcy.  But was I gone too long? Never.
